Research of developed primary current and voltage transformerThe results of analyzing primary current and voltage converters, presented in[4-6], demonstrate the necessity of developing and introducing digital current andvoltage transformers. In the developed digital instrument transformers we proposeusing several primary current sensors, embodying various physical principles: smallcurrent transformer, Rogowski coil and direct current sensor (galvano-magneticconverter – magnetotransistor ring). The structure of a digital current transformermeasuring module is shown in Fig. 1. Such a combination provides not onlyduplication of measuring channels, but also more significant functional backup,from the point of view of reliability. The frequency characteristics of primaryconverters are inextricably linked both with signal processing in relay protection,automation and measuring devices and ultimately with their working algorithms. Itis therefore an important task to study the frequency characteristics of developedprimary converters.
