Suspension is one of the most important components in modern automobiles, its main function is to transmit all the forces and torques acting between the wheels and the frame (or body), and to mitigate the impact of the car when driving across uneven road surface, attenuating the vibration of the carrying system caused by it, in order to ensure the smooth driving of the car. Therefore, an elastic connection must be provided between the wheel and the frame or body, relying on elastic elements to transmit the dying load between the wheel or axle and the frame or body, and relying on its deformation to absorb energy for cushioning purposes. With elastic connections, the car can be thought of as a vibration system consisting of suspension mass (i.e. reed load mass), non-suspension mass (i.e. non-reed load mass) and spring (elastic element), which is stimulated by uneven road surfaces, aerodynamics and transmission systems, and engines. In order to quickly attenuated unnecessary vibrations, the suspension must also include a damping element, the damper. In addition, the connecting device in the suspension that ensures reliable transmission of all forces and torques between the wheel and the frame or body and determines the displacement characteristics of the wheel relative to the frame or body is collectively referred to as the guide mechanism. The guiding mechanism determines the change of motion trajectory and wheel positioning parameters when the wheels are beating, as well as the position of the center of the car's front and rear tilt and the center of the tilt, thus greatly improving the vehicle's handling stability and anti-tilt capability.
