Abstract: Kindergarten teachers, as the organizers and implementers of early childhood sports activities, have a direct impact on the healthy development of children's bodies, and more related to the improvement of the quality of the whole society. It is an effective way to promote the improvement of kindergarten teachers' physical education ability by carrying out special on-the-job training to improve teachers' physical education ability. Using questionnaires and interviews, 186 kindergarten teachers were investigated and found that there were problems in the development, design, organization and implementation of physical education programs. Based on the results of the survey, the training suggestions to improve teachers' physical education ability are put forward: based on the core goal of physical education, clear training objectives, improve the training content based on the teacher's practical needs, focus on the active development of teachers, integrate training methods, establish a tracking and guidance mechanism, and improve the training effect.
