• Demos will follow a set schedule of start and stop times. See the Structured Demo Execution Timeline on the Tastes and Tips category page for the full timeline.• The Event Specialist will pull product for their demo from the floor, remove the UPC and store it with the Demo Detail Sheet at their cart. • Typically a demo sample should be the size of two bites. Either flat toothpicks or soufflé cups should be utilized for most demos. • Any demo samples that are hot or cold must be served temperature appropriate according to Food Safety regulations. Tastes and Tips Club Supervisors will provide Event Specialists with a temperature log that requires them to regularly test the temperature of every batch of samples they prepare. • No personal items are allowed on the demo cart. Personal drinking containers are only permitted if required by specific health codes. All other personal items should be stored in the Tastes and Tips lockers located by the demo kitchen. • The area around the demo station must remain clean and free of food or trash on the floor, as well as any slip, trip, or fall hazards. Tastes and Tips is responsible for maintaining the immediate areas surrounding a demo in a radius no greater than 10 feet, in a neat and clean condition. • Each demo cart should have a trash can either dedicated to it or in close proximity. • Any unused perishable product is not allowed to be stored under the demo cart unless it is kept in a manner to ensure all health codes and Food Safety requirements are met. • The demo cart shelves are to be utilized to promote non‐perishable demo items.
