The automatic casting control system is the key of the billet control system of the continuous casting machine. Its successful development has very important theoretical significance and application value. This paper introduces in detail the automatic start-up pouring system of stopper and liquid level control system of Xinggang continuous casting machine. The system takes Siemens S7-400 PLC as the basic automation equipment, fully imitates the process of manual start-up pouring, implements the research and development of automatic start-up pouring function of continuous casting machine, and optimizes the start-up pouring parameters on the basis of continuous tests. When adjusting the liquid level, PLC compares the detected liquid level signal with the set value, uses the difference value to control the movement of the plug bar, realizes the full-automatic steel pouring, improves the quality of the slab, and greatly reduces the labor intensity of the operators.<br>
