Firstly, the situation of wind abandonment and the thermoelectric coupling characteristics of cogeneration units are analyzed, and a solution to improve the overall peak shaving capacity of power grid through the joint heating of thermoelectric units and photothermal energy storage power station is proposed. According to the operation characteristics of solar thermal energy storage power station, a feasible scheme of combined heating of solar thermal energy storage power station and thermoelectric unit is formulated, and the changes of thermoelectric characteristics and peak shaving capacity of thermoelectric unit after auxiliary heating of solar thermal energy storage power station are analyzed.
