In this study, the volatile components of the petals of eight species of Rosa were detected and analyzed at the bud stage, half-open stage and full-bloom stage, and their floral fragrance release rules were explored, and the expression levels of key genes for monoterpene synthesis and the composition of floral fragrance components were analyzed. Correlation analysis was carried out to determine the DXR and NUDX1-1a genes play an important role in the synthesis of volatile components of Rosa petal monoterpenes in this study.
