In this study, the most advanced version 4.3 is used to simulate a pseudo heterogeneous model, which accounts for the strong diffusion limitations in the catalyst particle, at each axial and radial reactor position. In addition, this study investigates the possibility to describe sulfur deactivation and steam reforming in a combined kineticequation. Modeling and simulation significantly improve the efficiencyof system design and development and economic analysis which is important for the success of the steam methane reforming industryoperation.
