At present, the relationship between the crimping form of the nanotube mineral structure and its surface charge properties and adsorption performance has not been studied in depth. In this study, nanotube minerals with similar morphologies but different compositions and structures were used for comparative adsorption of MO dyes. With the help of mineral characterization tests and adsorption isotherm models, the difference of the removal effects of two natural one-dimensional mineral materials on MO dyes were explored. It is the first time to discover the effect of the crimping way of nanotube tubular structure on the surface charge properties of minerals and the adsorption properties of methyl orange anion dyes.
