Process descriptionDe-acidification The free fatty acid contains in crude oil is not good for storage and usage of oil, it need to be remove with alkali neutralization. Based on the content of free fatty acids contained in the oil, add an appropriate amount of alkali solution, after fully stirring, the alkali and free fatty acid are formed to soap-stock to remove. Meanwhile, soap-stock can absorb impurity and color when water degumming. The oil after fully alkali refining, the free fatty acid content can reduce to 0.01%-0.03%, phospholipid about 0.0015%.Alkali refining According to the difference of alkali thickness and oil temperature, the process of alkali refining is divided into two types. One is low temperature with thick alkali (its initial temperature is 20-30℃, alkali thickness is 20 - 30Be). Another one is high temperature with light alkali (its initial temperature is 75℃, alkali thickness is 10-16Be). The former is generally applied and the latter is mainly used for crude oil which has low acid value, light color and less impurity. ⑴ Low temperature with thick alkali: Adjust the oil temperature to 20-30℃, then put in 20-30Be alkali liquid in 5-10 minutes. Stir it about 20-60 minutes on condition of 60r/m. Increasing the temperature slowly when see separating of soap particle. Increasing 1℃ per minute. When it reaches 60℃, stop stirring, keep still to make soap-stock settled. It will take nearly 6-8 hours, then discharge soap-stock.
