Create an area for a new database (called a “schema”). Click on “Cata-logs” in the left-hand column. Initially, the system-used schemata of “information,” “mysql,” and “test” will be present. Do not alter these databases. Right click in the area listing these schemata and choose “create a new schema.” As this article will build a training database, name it “training.”
