This paper mainly introduces the development process of bending machine at home and abroad, the development status of sheet metal mechanical structure analysis and the general method of general analysis and design. Taking 250 × 4200 bending machine as the research object, using the current large mainstream finite element analysis software ANSYS as the analysis tool, the finite element static characteristics of bending machine are analyzed, and the structural phase is carried out according to the analysis results The design should be optimized.<BR>First of all, the main 3D Software Solidworks is used to build the 3D solid model, and ANSYS software is imported to analyze a series of static characteristics of some parts of the bending machine, establish the finite element model, use ANSYS to calculate the relevant strength and stiffness of the parts, and make the necessary modification scheme according to the stress characteristics of the corresponding structure.<BR>Secondly, under the normal working pressure, the strain caused by the two and the influence of the slider loading on the deformation curve of the machining table, and the influence of the width and thickness of the bending side plate on the mechanical properties of the bending machine.<BR>Finally, the nonlinear contact analysis of slider, lower die and worktable is carried out to provide the data basis for the above analysis and verification.<BR>Key words: finite element analysis; bending machine; optimization; contact analysis<BR>
