In this paper, we propose an alternative control schemeby introducing PPFs [24], [25] and using recently proposedadaptive laws [27], such that the transient and steady-statesuspension responses of yc and ϕ can be designed a priori.Moreover, the convergence of the estimated parameters to theirtrue values M and I is to be achieved. It should be noted thatthe spring and piecewise damper dynamics Fd f , Fdr , Fs f andFsr are nonlinear and unknown in this paper, which will becompensated online with NNs.
