• Event Specialists, will be encouraged to park in area designated for Sam’s Associates, which is designated by yellow lines, unless handicap parking is needed. Safety Regulations:• Food or equipment shall not be left unattended during an event. All electrical equipment must be removed from the top of the demo cart and stored out of the reach of Members during a break. • All Club Supervisors, Lead Event Specialists and Event Specialists performing food demos must be either Food Safety Certified or Food Safety Trained. • All Event Specialists must follow all food‐handling regulations and comply with the Model Food Code. Plastic gloves shall be worn at all times when handling food and changed whenever necessary to maintain good hygienic practices. • Ice is not allowed for use during any roving demonstration. Ice may only be used on a stationary cart and in a container that prevents leaks or spills. Proper precautionary spill measures must be taken, such as utilizing the warning cones located in the Club’s spill stations. This includes all refrigerated products such as deli meats/cheese/yogurts, etc. Ice should be used as a method of maintaining the product’s temperature.
