Sol-gel method is an important method to prepare mesoporous materials with high specific surface area and ordered mesoporous arrays. In this method, the primary particles are formed by hydrolysis condensation reaction of the precursor. The particles are dehydrated, dealcoholated and grown, and cross-linked and grafted to form a gel with three-dimensional network structure. Finally, the gel is further stabilized by aging and drying, forming a porous body.
