At present, the relationship between the curly form form formed by nano-tubular mineral structure and its surface charge properties and adsorption properties has not been studied in depth. In this study, the comparative adsorption study of MO dyes was carried out by nano-tube minerals (HNTs and ChNTs) with similar shapes but different compositions and structures, and the differences of MO dye removal effect between two natural one-dimensional mineral materials were explored by means of mineral characterization testing and adsorption contocular line models. For the first time, the effect of the curling form of nanotube structure on the properties of charge on mineral surface and the adsorption properties of methyl orange anion dyes was found.
