Despite the recommendation of the World Health Organization for exclusive breastfeeding in the first six months of a child’s life, during the process of selection of studies, many studies were excluded for not meeting this requirement. In addition, a standard measurement of the other results regarding breastfeeding duration was not recorded, making it difficult to compare studies to identify those with the highest effectiveness in promoting breastfeeding. Thus there was difficulty in including other studies and as such, broadening the analysis of the educative interventions regarding their impact on the adhesion to breastfeeding, considering their benefits not just for children’s health, but also those of the mother, family, community and environment
