As mentioned above, the letters tended to allot very little story-sequence material to the act of IPV and the therapeutic interventions of the BIP, but not all completely failed to acknowledge this background. In 29 of the letters (64.4%), the “Incident” time frame remained empty, but 10 letters (22.2%) used sentences that implied events that would be placed there, and five (11.1%) provided some minimal direct mention. Only one described anything about the incident itself, and none offered any detail. The participants provided more information on the “Intervention” time frame: 14 (31.1%)indirectly implied events, 13 (28.9%) made some direct reference, and eight letters (18%) actually offered descriptions.
