According to the analysis of teachers' teaching methods in music courses, it is found that most junior high school teachers pay too much attention to the teaching of music theory knowledge in the teaching process of music courses, ignoring the students' own perspective, so that students can learn to appreciate and understand music and discover the beauty in music. Long-term acceptance of music theory study will make students unable to feel the interest of music courses different from other disciplines, and also unable to train students' aesthetic and creative ability, which is not conducive to the development of students in many aspects.
