Abstract In <BR><BR>order to understand the effects of salicylic acid on the yield and quality of safflower seedling vegetables more systematically, this paper uses Henan safflower BH-1 and Yunnan safflower as materials, using 0mg/L (SA1) and 25mg/L (SA2) , 45mg/L (SA3), 65mg/L (SA4), 85mg/L (SA5) and other salicylic acid concentrations were sprayed to the seedlings by foliar spraying twice. The first spraying was 14 days after sowing, and the second spraying was performed at intervals of seven days. Henan safflower has higher agronomic characteristics and polysaccharide content in SA2-SA3 (25-45mg/L), chlorophyll content is higher in SA3 (45mg/L), polysaccharide content, and flavonoid content is inhibited by exogenous SA. Yunnan varieties have higher agronomic standards in SA1-SA2 (5-25mg/L), and SA2-SA3 (25-45mg/L), which is conducive to the accumulation of total chlorophyll content.
