summary<BR><BR>In order to understand the influence of salicylic acid on the yield and quality of safflower seedlings more systematically, this paper uses Henan safflower BH-1 and Yunnan varieties of safflower as materials, using 0mg/L (SA1), 25mg/L (SA2), 45mg/L (SA3), 65mg/L (SA4), 85mg/L (SA5) and other salicylic acid concentrations for the gradient of the seedlings for leaf spraying, a total of two sprays. The first spray is applied 14 days after seeding, with a second spray at intervals of seven days. Henan safflower in SA2-SA3 (25-45mg/L) when the agronomic traits, polysaccharide content level is higher, chlorophyll content in SA3 (45mg/L) when the content is higher, polysaccharide content, flavonoid content by the external SA inhibition. Yunnan varieties in SA1-SA2 (5-25mg/L) when the agronomic level is high, in SA2-SA3 (25-45mg/L), is conducive to the accumulation of total chlorophyll content.
