3.4 Size and Geometry 3.4.1 All check fixtures require the use of height-adjustable feet in four corners, sized to 50x50mm minimum. Feet must be made from steel, and must be adjustable through the use of shims or screw adjustment. More feet will be required as the base size and weight increases. 3.4.2 Preferred base sizes as follows: 700x500, 1000x1000, 1500x1500, or 2000x2000. 3.4.3 Fork Lift pockets must be 650mm apart, 100mm tall, and 200mm wide. The pockets must extend the entire depth of the fixture, with an allowance for gaps no more than 250mm along the length. For reference, see Figure 7 - Layout of Fixture Support Structure and Fork Lift Pockets. 3.4.4 Base heights are to follow the guideline in Figure 7 below. The fixture may be placed on a stand or cart to achieve desired working height. See Section 3.3 above for more details. 3.4.5 For home line fixtures, the minimum distance from the lowest point of the part to the fixture base is 250mm unless otherwise specified.
