Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other Annex 1, where an ARM Compliant Product contains an ARM Compliant Core and any other ARM core(s), the multiple core royalty table of the ARM core with the highest royalty shall apply. If the ARM core with the highest royalty is the ARM Compliant Core, the multiple core royalty table (Table B) set forth above shall apply.Example 1:An ARM Compliant Product contains one (1) Cortex-M3 core and one (1) Cortex-M3 core.   The ASP of the ARM Compliant Product is US$7.   For the purpose of this example, assume the royalty rate for Cortex-M3 is 3.5% with a floor of US$0.15. The royalty payable on the cumulative volume for the Cortex-M3 core is 2% of the ASP and is subject to a floor of US$0.10. In addition the royalty rate for an ARM core with a second highest royalty shall apply (50% of applicable Royalty in accordance with Table B):The royalty payable for the Cortex-M3= $7 x 3.5% = $0.245 The royalty payable for the Cortex-M3 core = $7 x 2% = $0.14 x 50% = $0.07Total Royalty = US$0.245 (for the Cortex-M3) + US$0.07 (for the second core which is the Cortex-M3 core) = US$0.315
