Before giving the written presentation, say orally to a child, “Oh! What did you do today?” – in such a way as to surprise him. In this case, the teacher pretends to feel anger and she expresses this emotion in speech. Then write: “Oh! What did you do this morning?” Ask a child to read it and say it to another child, as you have just done. Prepare sentences having interjections and distribute them to the children. As each child reads his/her sentence, he/she places it on the table and places the symbols. When all the children have done this, introduce the symbol for the interjection. The color is gold because the interjection is an entire thought expressed in one word. This is the last part of speech and the easiest. It is parallel to the interpretative reading, and it is an aid to the children in being expressive in interpretative reading
