Only the indwelling needle has dangerous complications of drug extravasation. The central venous access accounted for 80%, the peripheral access accounted for 15%, and the mixed central and peripheral access accounted for 5%. Patients who use peripheral venous access will experience up to 20 punctures in the entire 4 treatment cycles.
