1.3.2 Probabilistic reliability topology optimizationReliability topology optimization starts from probabilistic reliability topology optimization. As a method of combining reliability analysis and topology optimization, probabilistic reliability topology optimization uses probability model to describe the uncertainty of variables, which needs the support of probability theory widely. Because the reliability analysis part of probabilistic reliability topology optimization theory is essentially the solution process of structure failure probability. The solution methods are as follows(1) Moment methodAs an approximate solution, the moment method is the most commonly used method to evaluate probabilistic reliability constraints in probabilistic reliability topology optimization, which can estimate the failure probability of structures by linear approximate simulation of function functions. Kharmanda (34) uses a section of reliability method to search the most probable failure point (MPP) on the failure surface, at which the first-order approximate estimation of the failure probability of the function function is made. Youn (35) applied the improved mean first moment method to the probabilistic reliability topology optimization problem, which enhanced the nonlinear ability of searching MPP. At the same time, he improved the efficiency of numerical calculation and got better evaluation accuracy without sacrificing numerical accuracy and stability.
