In view of the above shortcomings, when designing the main drive system of xk2116 CNC gantry milling and boring machine, it is decided to adopt DC spindle motor. Because, the DC motor speed regulation characteristics are very good, the starting torque is large, especially the speed regulation characteristics of the AC motor. The DC spindle motor can be directly used for stepless speed regulation, so that the machine tool can get the most favorable cutting parameters and the minimum relative productivity loss.
