This study proposes that translation is not a process of "encoding decoding" between languages, but the result of the interaction of multiple elements of "source text cognition translation", which is the result of the translator's "cognition". Cognitive knowledge is the core element of translator's cognition. Cognitive construal, as the "intermediary" from the original text to the translation, affects and restricts the quality of the translation, and the realization of "optimal construal" is an important criterion to test the quality of translation. This study explores the cognitive study of translation from the perspective of construal, clarifies the translation criteria based on construal dimension, and has certain reference significance for the study of cognitive translation.<br>
