This paper developed a two-phase non-linear arc energy absorber (2PA NES), a base-isolated structure to ease the displacement. 2PA NES mass damper is a non-linear, non-linear restoring force can be generated by moving the auxiliary mass in orbit. In this paper, a two-phase arc nonlinear energy absorber (2PA NES) has been developed to relieve displacement in the underlying isolation structure. 2PA NES is a nonlinear mass damper that produces nonlinear resilience by moving the auxiliary mass on the orbit.
