The evaluation and control of heavy metal pollution in farmland soil is of great significance to the development of green food base. The contents of CD, as, Pb, Cr, Cu, Ni, Zn, Ti and Se in the soil of two typical green fruit and vegetable production bases in a suburb of Chongqing were analyzed systematically. Based on NY / T 391-2000, gb15618-2018 and Chongqing soil background value evaluation standard, the single factor and Nemero pollution index method, land accumulation index method and ecological hazard method were used. The heavy metal pollution of soil was evaluated by index method. The results of single factor and Nemero pollution index showed that the single factor indexes of five heavy metals in the soil samples of the two bases were all less than 1.0; the Nemero pollution index was 0.6743 and 0.6091, close to 0.70, respectively. The results of land accumulation index showed that the soils of the two bases were not polluted by CD, Cu, Ni and Zn, but slightly polluted by as and Pb. The results of analysis and evaluation of potential ecological hazard index and risk degree of soil showed that the largest soil risk coefficient of base-xy and base-ky was CD, which was 26 and 19 respectively, and the total potential ecological risk index RI was 64 and 54 respectively, indicating that the ecological risk of soil in the two bases was relatively low.<br>
