2.5.3. Bag house filterIn the bag house filter fly ash is recovered as well as a small amount of solids formed in the dry reactor by acidpollutants reduction: A temperature drop of 5 °C is considered in the bag house filter; The pressure drop through the bag house filter is assumed to be 20 mbar.2.5.4. ID Fan: Overall pressure drop of incineration line (delta P < 160 mbar) The flue gas pressure at the ID Fan outlet is assumed to be 45 mbar in order to take into account thescrubber pressure drop; A temperature increase of 5 °C is considered through the ID Fan.2.5.5. Quench and acid scrubberAn acid scrubber is foreseen to remove the acid pollutants, mainly halogenated compounds (Cl, F, Br, I) andsulfur. A quench is also required, upstream this scrubber, to cool down immediately the flue gas from baghousefilter temperature to the scrubber temperature: Industrial water with city water quality is considered for make-up water of acid scrubber; No subcooling is designed in the scrubber recirculation loop; Softened water is considered for rinsing and cleaning of the demister.
