This theory points out that there is no strict hierarchy between individual needs and needs are not progressive, but parallel and mutually reinforcing. In addition, it also puts forward the viewpoint that if the demand is frustrated, people will pursue to the lower level. That is, when an individual's higher needs are not met in a timely manner, the individual will choose to go back to pursue a lower level of needs. To sum up, I think this theory is more suitable for the motivation of employees at the bottom of the enterprise.
