The leno chain thread a1 is drawn into its jacquard strand h and half the leno strand f. The two leno chain threads therefore cross when they are pulled into the half leno strands f and f1. The leno chain threads a and a1 and the two standing chain threads b and b1 form a leno cord in this embodiment.
