Because of the large number of people dining in school canteens, many kinds of purchased ingredients, many processing links, many opportunities for cross-contamination, many varieties of meals, many employees, concentrated risks and many potential safety hazards, mass food poisoning accidents are most likely to occur. According to the data, from 2006 to 2014, there were about 20% to 40% cases of food poisoning in schools. Therefore, food safety is very important. Secondly, the nutrition of lunch is very important. Because nutritious lunch provides students with a balanced diet, students get reasonable nutrition, which can promote their healthy growth. A healthy and proper lunch should be based on five grains, with plenty of vegetables, melons and fruits, moderate amount of meat, eggs and fish, and less oil, salt and sugar. Foods with high sugar or salt content can make students obese or harm their health. Finally, the school should arrange the time for students to eat properly. According to the survey, lunch usually starts at 11:00 in the morning and ends at 13:00 in the afternoon. These two hours can be said to be the most important time for eating. Moreover, you must keep eating for 30 minutes or more at lunch. Chewing slowly is good for stomach digestion. If students eat too short, they will eat too fast and hurt their stomach.
