Substation is an important part of the power system, it directly affects the safety and economic operation of the whole power system, is the intermediate link between power plants and users, plays the role of transformation and distribution of electric energy. The main electrical line is the main link of the power plant substation. The determination of the main electrical wiring is directly related to the selection of electrical equipment, the layout of power distribution device, the determination of relay protection and electric device, and is the decisive factor of the investment in the electrical part of the substation. Substation is the assembly of some equipment, used to cut off, connect, change or adjust the voltage. In the system, the substation becomes the collection node of power transmission and distribution.<br>This design first analyzes the load development trend according to the parameters of the system, line and all loads given in the task book. This paper expounds the necessity of building the station from the aspect of load growth, and then through the summary of the proposed substation and line direction, and through the analysis of load data, safety, economy and reliability, determines the 35kV, 10kV and the main wiring of station power, and then through the load calculation and power supply range to determine the number, capacity and model of the main transformer, and also determine the capacity and model of the station transformer, and calculate the short-circuit current, so as to complete the 35kV electrical part design.<br>
