This article mainly introduces the background, transformation process and energy consumption analysis of a domestic petrochemical company's ethylene plant low-pressure methane hydrogen process transformation project, and analyzes and evaluates the effect of the transformation. This process optimization and transformation only needs to add a methane-hydrogen compressor, mainly to recover and utilize the low-pressure methane-hydrogen in the internal cooling separation system of the ethylene plant. The recovery and utilization of the rich low-pressure methane and hydrogen increases the operating flexibility of the device, provides convenience for subsequent light-weight raw materials, and improves the efficiency of energy utilization.
