With the rapid development of motorcycle, automobile, aerospace and other processing and manufacturing industries, the demand for spline shaft is increasing, and the mechanical properties of spline shaft are also improving. Internal spline shaft is a kind of connector with complex structure. It has the characteristics of compact structure, high bearing capacity and good mechanical performance, and has a wide range of practical needs and application space. In the actual production, this kind of internal spline shaft with steps has defects such as large material consumption, low production efficiency and poor mechanical performance in the process of mechanical cutting; the cold extrusion process has large material deformation resistance, large tonnage and uneconomical processing equipment; the hot extrusion process is a high efficiency, low consumption and low requirements processing equipment and good processing method of product mechanization. Therefore, the research on the hot extrusion technology of internal spline shaft has important theoretical significance in the actual production.<br>Based on the analysis of materials and the shape and size of spline shaft, three different heat treatment schemes are put forward according to the structural characteristics and technical requirements of heat treatment. The utilization rate and deformation degree of materials are analyzed and compared from two aspects. Finally, the technical scheme is determined, and the hollow blank of heat treatment of spline shaft is the best; the hollow blank heat treatment of spline shaft is established.<br>
