In the process of oil and gas exploration and pipeline transmission, the medium usually contains CO2 and H2S, which are the root causes of corrosion or even premature failure of pipes in oil and gas fields, which has a certain impact on the normal production and operation of the petroleum industry. In this paper, the research and protection of CO2 and H2S corrosion in the material are introduced, focusing on the separate existence of CO2 and H2S, and the coexistence of the two corrosion process found that the corrosion rate of the oil pipe in the coexistence of the oil pipe is larger than the corrosion rate of the oil pipe, and it is easy to increase the sensitivity of sulphide stress cracking and metal hydrocracking, the solubility degree and pH value of CO2 compounds are the main factors affecting CO2 co.bs. The corrosion protection technology under CO2 and H2S co-existence, including the selection of materials, the selection of corrosion inhibitors, the application of electrochemical protection technology and the use of internal coating technology of materials, is expounded in order to provide reference for pipe protection under CO2 and H2S coexistence in oil and gas fields.<br>Editorial Board of the Technical Manual on Corrosion and Protection of Oil and Gas Fields
