Metal binder diamond abrasives with high strength, good wear resistance, long service life and so on, is widely used in carbide, stone, ceramics, glass and other difficult-to-process materials grinding process. However, the metal binder diamond grinding wheel prepared by the hot press sintering method has the characteristics of high degree of density, poor self-sharpness, easy blockage, difficult to repair and so on, resulting in low grinding efficiency of the grinding wheel. In this paper, we try to introduce the pore structure of traditional ceramic binding agent into the metal binder diamond abrasive, and prepare the multiporous metal binder diamond abrasive, so that its self-sharpness is better, can reduce the grinding force produced by grinding to a certain extent, and effectively reduce the grinding heat and grinding temperature.
