• Pliers- There are two groups of pliers(Fig.7.15). One is used for gripping andthe other for cutting. Diagonal cuttingpliers are sometimes called side-cuttingpliers or side cutters. Gripping pliersshould not be used in place of wrenchesor sockets since this damages nuts andbolts.
