Abstract: Objective: To improve the cognitive function of children with low intelligence through art painting. Methods: 60 cases of moderate intellectual lysin (IQ; 35-49) were selected for the study, and the children were divided into study groups and control groups by random control method, 30 cases per group, the children in the control group were given cognitive training, the study group increased painting training while using cognitive training, and the course of treatment for 3 months, and analyzed the relationship between moderate mental low-intelligence children's cognitive function and art level according to Webster's intelligence assessment scale. RESULTS: After cognitive training treatment, the children in the control group showed effect in 5 cases 4 cases were effective and 2 cases were not effective, the total efficiency was 40% of the study group children after the combination of cognitive training and art painting training treatment 4 cases showed effective total efficiency of 7 cases, after 3 months of treatment, the efficacy of the two groups of children compared P 0.05, the numerical difference was statistically significant; Conclusion: The cognitive ability of children with moderate intelligence in art painting has obvious therapeutic effect, and the better the cognitive ability of children, the better the degree of coordination, the better.<br>Keywords: moderate intelligence; art painting; hand-made.
