The Rivet will operate as a "Rivet" - we can't use it if the ends are already folded over. You need to change your drawings for this.- Can you please tell me if there is a standard rivet you can buy from the market place rather than make it/machine it?- The rivet needs to fit very tightly when it is hammered into place, because the clip will be attached to a battery and so an electric current must from through the top and bottom pieces. - Do you have any suggestions as to how we may make this joint stronger/better at conducting electricity?- The rivet joints must be tight also because we don't want water to pass between the top and bottom pieces. - Have you made something similar before? DO you have any suggestions for us to meet these above objectives please? 2) The gap between the top piece has been designed to hold an electric wire from the battery. During assembly, the cable will be pushed down/squeezed into the gap. The plastic cover on the wire will be cut by the gap and the wire will touch and connect to the metal clip. - The gap is important and needs to be the correct size (as shown in the drawings) - can you confirm that the gap will be perfect size each time?- Have you designed/handled any other pieces which does the same thing? - Do you have any suggestions as to how we can do this better- make sure the wire fits into the gap and the connects to the plate?
