Mustard pods containing mummified D. rapae were collected from the field during 1993-94, and maintained at 8-10 degrees C. The number of emerged parasitoids was determined 4 days after removing the parasitoids from the refrigerated conditions. Data was recorded on the eclosion percentage based on observations from the first day up to the 28th day, and subsequently on the 89th and 120th day of storage. Eclosion of mummified aphids was 100% after 6 days of refrigeration and decreased thereafter. Adult eclosion was 60, 50 and 40% after 28, 89 and 120 days of refrigeration, respectively.
