Baise City Bureau of Industry and Information Technology released the production recovery progress in the city as of February 18. According to the Bureau, it has a total of 68 aluminium fabricators above designated size, of which 39 were suspended due to the current round of pandemic, covering 56.5% of the total fabrication capacities. There are:5 alumina manufacturers with a total capacity of 9.2 million mt; 5 of them were producing with a gross operating capacity of 7.2 million mt;8 aluminium smelters with a total capacity 2.37 million; 7 of them were producing with a gross operating capacity of 1.3 million mt; Tianyang Baikuang suspended the production due to the pandemic, affecting a capacity of 500,000 mt;55 aluminium processing companies with a capacity of 3.8 million mt; 17 of them were producing with a gross operating capacity of 1.03 million mt; 38 of them were suspended due to the pandemic.
