Nanpu Bridge is the first bridge across the Huangpu River in Shanghai. The bridge was built in December 1988 and completed in November 1991. The total length of the bridge is 8346 meters, and the main bridge is 846 meters long and 30 meters wide. Tourists can take the sightseeing elevator from the main tower to the 50m high bridge surface to have a bird's-eye view of the scenery. The main bridge tower is in the shape of "H" and 150 meters high.
