The application of the geochemical prospecting prediction method to the Gansu Daqiao gold deposit area involved data from the soil layer and enabled the spatial variation in various elements to be modeled. The results of borehole verification in the prediction area prove the effectiveness of this method. The method is demonstrably both rapid to execute and accurate, as the prediction of geochemical anomalies signifying possible ore target areas is comparable with traditional prediction results. The method should be able to be applied to prospecting prediction using conventional geochemical data in other regions.
